Jurassic Saunas

The Jurassic Sauna on Branscombe Beach was the perfect remedy to our wet and windy weekend on the Devonshire coast. The sauna not only looked out onto a beautiful view of the crashing waves over the pebble beach, but also really visually complemented the scenery with its wooden exterior, chimney and well maintained area around the hut. We only wish we were local so that we could enjoy it more often! The lovely guy who greeted us was relaxed and friendly, offering cucumber water and oranges for our sauna experience, and the hut was meticulously clean. We enjoyed getting to know the other people on our session, but you could easily spend the time quietly too. My only suggestion to future visitors is to bring wet-shoes for the beach, as sensitive feet might not enjoy the pebbles on your dash to the sea for a cold plunge. We hope to visit again on our next trip!
